Xiaomi Mi 4 Finally Revealed to Launch with a Metal Chassis.

Xiaomi is currently preparing themselves for the launches of its next flagship smartphone and the successor to its current flagship, the MI3 smartphone, thought to be dubbed the Mi4, later this month. The company has been slowly and steadily begun to tease the upcoming launch event.

First of all, the company’s founder and CEO Lei Junposted a teaser image on his official Weibo account, the Chinese equivalent of twitter, unveiling a July 22 launch date and a large numeric four on the invite, which comes to show that the launch will be of the anticipated Mi 4. This will soon came afterward by Xiaomi’s co-founder and president, Bin Lin, who went on Facebopok and posted a similar teaser. He also stated’ ”July 22nd, Xiaomi’s annual product launch event. We will tell the story about “The journey of a piece of steel metal”.” This post by Lin clearly shows that the next smartphone will arrive with a metal build.

 

Other related leaks recently appearing of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship handset has been hinting towards a metal chassis. The anticipated Xiaomi Mi4′s front panel was also leaked in images recently, showing thin bezels, while the rear of the handset is expected to be sealed within a metal casing.

Earlier during this week, Xiaomi India, after stirring up a buzz on social media sites, finally unveiled its very first smartphone for the India market, the Mi 3. The comapny’s Indian website listed the Mi 3 at Rs.14,999 and confirmed that the and set shall go up for sale during July 15.

The Chinese smartphone develop, often called the ‘Apple of China, has yet to announce its plans for selling the Xiaomi Mi3 through any channel in India. Gathered from much earlier reports, Xiaomi, followed in similar footstep of Motorola, is expected to partner up with the e-commerce giant Flipkart to launch its handset within the country.
