Showcase Gig Unveils  Their New Platform And Features.

Japan-based Showcase Gig, the startup that is best known for its mobile wallet and CRM (customer relationship management) platform O:der, has recently announced that it has manage to develop a new ordering system dubbed Smart O:der in accosiation with the United & Collective, the company that’s backed several Japanese restaurant chains.


This brand new system has already launched its operating at the a  3rd Burger hamburger restaurants that is based in Aoyama and Roppongi Hills shoppiong complex in Tokyo.

 Once the O:der application has been downloaded onto a smartphone and the user associates their credit car information with their account, they can order food and pay the bills utilizing the application before they go to a ‘Smart O:der’ system-enabled restaurant. Before the introduction of this new system, user will be able to order in advance but have to pay the bill at the restaurant.

When the order has been placed and the payment made through the application, the user’s order will be transmitted towards the restaurant. Upon arrival at the restaurant, a sensor device installed will detect its arrival and notify kitchen staff to being preparing the ordered food. With this system in place user will not need to wait for a long period of time for their food or wait in a long line to pick up their ” to go” meals. United & Collective tested the system at their restaurants and found it could double their order processing speed during lunch peak hours.


Along with this recent announcement, Showcase Gig launched out a new feature that allows retailer to give user a digital loyalty customer stamp or reward coupons utilizing the beacon-based noncontact type authentication system for iOS, which is the very first of its kind in the world, they stated.

The company has future to plans on further adding new services allowing user to pick up their orders at a restaurants at the time appointed in advance.
