LINE to launch pop-up store in Singapore on April 30th.

Those who have become of Fans of LINE’s cute little characters can finally dance the streets in joy, as the company has recently announced that it would be launching its first Singapore pop-up store on April 30, after a dealyed that had cause some logistical issues.

The Location for the pop-up store placed in the same are that was originally announced, at the heart of the Orchard Road shopping district. Specifically, the store will be at the Grand Steps of Wisma Atria mall, and will be open between 11:00 AM to 10: PM from Monday to Thursday, and from 10:00 Am to 10:00 PM from Friday till Sunday.

General Manager of LINE Business Development Division, LINE PLUS Corporation, Simeon Cho, pointed out that Singapore offers opportunities for LINE to market its unique expereince.

“With its excellent communication infrastructure and position as a technological hub, Singapore is the perfect market for LINE, which offers the most advanced mobile communication experience,” he said, “We would like to use the pop-up store to offer Singaporean users a chance to be immersed in the ultimate LINE experience.”

Beside the extensive array of official LINE merchandise that will be priced from S$14(US$11) to S$50(US$40)for doll of various sizes, fans should also look forward to taking pictures with larger-than-life Brown and COny character mascots every Friday to Sunday. Other in-store activities shall include a roulette game, where users can participate by sharing a picture of the pop-up store on their LINE group chat.

They shall be giving away a total of 100 mini LINE dolls worth S$14(US$11) to the first 100 customers at the pop-up store starting tomorrow.Mascots Brown and Cony will also be welcoming visitors between the times of 11AM till 3PM.
