LG Electronics Release an SDK for Quick Circle Case Apps.
LG Electronics has recently revealed a software development kit (SDK) on its website for application developers to support the development of application exclusively made for its “Quick Circle Case,” a unique handset case for LG’s latest smartphone G3.
With the SDK, anyone can create an application quite easily without haveing to resort to special traning. Bugs, a music service, G Wallet, Whoscall and ten other companies have already come out with application exclusively made for “Quick Circle Case” and a number of companies related to sports, radio and entertainment is also currently under development for applications in this case.
These applications shall allow G3 users to conveniently access them through a circular window on the exterior of the case.
The smartphone manufacturer has designed G3′s frontal window to be in circular shape and within the circular window, the device’s main features such as call button, text message, music player, camera, LG health and clock can be accessed handily. Aesthetic design from the smart lighting that outlines the circle is a bonus that comes with the convenience.
An executive with LG Electronics said, “We look to enhance Quick Circle’s user convenience by working with diverse app developers and creating more applications.”
GSM Arena ranked LG’s G3 at the top of its list beating out the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy S5 and Sony’s Xperia Z2. On the first day of its launch, over 14,000 G3 phones were sold and it continues to garner explosive response from Korean consumers.
Phone Arena also tested the 3,000mAh battery on the LG L3 against other competing models, including the Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, HTC One (M8), LG G2 and iPhone 5S. And the results proved outstanding: LG G3 came out on top, with its battery lasting nearly 9 hours.
