Ground Labs to Showcase Card Data Discovery During The MGRM Conference.
Ground Labs will be attending the next leg of the Mastercard Global Risk Management Conference Series, which is taking place from the 5th to 8th of August in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Mastercard Global Risk Management Conference is a gathering point for global stakeholders from the payment security industry, who meet to discuss and learn about the latest tools and techniques for maximising security and minimising fraud.
A renowned developer of the sensitive data discovery tools Card Recon and Enterprise Recon, Ground Labs will be sponsoring the conference as well as participating in its vendor showcase.
Standing at the forefront of the war against hacking, one of Ground Labs’ missions is alerting organisations to the threat of data compromise, which can affect any company dealing with sensitive customer data, regardless of size or industry.
Ground Labs has been widely spreading this educational message at a large number of similar conferences since its establishment in 2007. It most recently sponsored and attended the annual Mastercard Academy of Risk Management at the St. Regis Monarch Beach, USA, which took place earlier in May.
“We believe that the most effective form of data protection is not only setting up a strong defensive perimeter with traditional security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and antivirus software, but also focusing on eliminating or securing what the hackers are trying to steal,” said Stephen Cavey, the Director of Corporate Development for Ground Labs, who will be representing the company at next week’s conference.
In line with that belief, Ground Labs’ security tools help organisations simplify and enhance their PCI Compliance initiatives. Ground Lab’s latest security tool, Data Recon, allows users to perform a full search of their computer systems for 95 different types of sensitive personal data such as passport numbers, personal addresses, and credit card information.
Ground Labs will run live demonstrations of its Data Recon and other software solutions on the main showcase floor alongside other leading payment industry vendors, including Payvision, Clear2Pay, and G2 Web Services.
