BidWorks Develop A Free Public Auction Application Named “Bid App”

A company that specializes in public bid-related services, Bidworks, announced on May 26th that it has plans to launch a new smartphone application by the name of “Bid Application” that allows user to view information on all currently available public auctions.

The application provides a variety of information when it comes bids that are announced by Public Procurement Service’s KONEPs (Korean Online E-Procurement System) and other government agencies and state-run enterprises.

Lee Hak-soo, president of Bidworks, said, “The success of a construction business depends critically on winning bids. For this reason getting timely bid information is very important for the contractors’ survival and prosperity. I hope the new Bid App could help contractors win their business more conveniently.”

Feats.

Until as of recently, most public bid information services have been available fore a free and there were no mobile-based services. The new application can be linked to KakaoTalk and the text messaging service so the user doesn’t have to worry about missing out on an important bidding, as the information arrives towards the user’s messaging inbox or alerted by KakaoTalk ringtone. the application is currently available for download at Google Play Store or at the mobile application of Bidworks.

To celebrate its successful launching of the application, the company shall holding a bid-style promotional event. Anyone who enters a bid through the application from May 26 to June 17 will be eligible for a sweepstake and the company will give away gift certificates worth over 50,000 to 300,000 won to seven winners.
